Travel revenue rose to more than AED 27.29 billion during the first half of 2022, compared to AED 8.91 billion during the same period in 2021.

Expenses, according to the same source, amounted to 7,178 million dirhams at the end of last June, a level lower than that recorded in the years prior to the epidemic crisis, when 9,441 million dirhams were recorded in 2019.
The travel balance surplus was recorded. The same bulletin related to monthly foreign trade indicators adds, “the main component of trade in the service sector, an increase of 20.12 billion dirhams at the end of June 2022, compared to a more than 4.83 billion dirhams during the same period last year.
