Moroccan runner Noura El-Nadi won the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles on Tuesday, as part of the tests of the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games currently being held in the Turkish city of Konya.
Noura Al-Nadi’s crowning came after finishing the race with a time of 56 seconds and 100/15, ahead of Bahraini Amina Yousef Jamal (56 seconds and 100/41), and Cameroonian Christelle Linda Angono (57 seconds and 100/ 92). Speaking to the press, Noura El-Nadi expressed her happiness for this coronation and the delivery of the gold medal to Morocco, adding that her coronation with the precious metal came as a result of intense work and preparation. .
The Moroccan runner confirmed that she was confident of achieving a good result at the end of the race.
Sakina Hajji also managed to take the silver medal in the 800m race, and in the same race, the Moroccan Assia Rizeki won the bronze.
