King Mohammed VI issued his pardon order to 542 people, including detainees and free, who were sentenced by the various courts of the Kingdom, on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution of the King and the people this year.
The Ministry of Justice revealed, in a statement in this regard, the 433 inmates benefiting from the royal pardon who are in a state of detention, as follows:
Pardon for the rest of the prison or prison sentence for the benefit of: 12 inmates
Reduction of the term of imprisonment or imprisonment for the benefit of: 419 inmates
Transfer of life imprisonment to the designated prison for the benefit of: 02 inmates.
The beneficiaries of the royal pardon who are in a state of freedom, in number of 109, are distributed as follows:
Pardon from prison sentence or what remains of it for the benefit of: 37 people
Exemption from the prison sentence maintaining the fine for the benefit of: 04 people
Amnesty of the fine for the benefit of: 63 people
