The League of Ukraine resumes under strict conditions after being paralyzed by the war

The Ukrainian Football League resumed on Tuesday, with Shakhtar Donetsk and Metalist Kharkiv, at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv, after a 6-month break due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Before the start of the match, the two teams remembered the victims of the war by observing a minute of silence, since one of the injured veterans started the kick-off, since all matches will be played without fans for security reasons, indefinitely, in addition to applying strict rules to coaches and officials.

The game will stop immediately, in the event of an anti-aircraft siren, and all participants must go to the protection shelters, which must be close to the stadium.

And the season started without the participation of Desna Chernihiv and Mariupol, where the infrastructure of the duo was very destroyed, since most of the matches will be played in Kyiv, and in cities in western Ukraine far from the confrontation fronts.
