Polisario leader received in Tunisia a “hostile stance” against Morocco – Hoy 24

Commenting on the Tunisian president’s reception for the leader of the separatist Polisario Front, the Moroccan Association of Heads of Prefectures and Provinces said: “This hostile stance represents a serious violation of the territorial and national unity of our country and the sentiments of the Moroccan people. . .”

In a statement, the association added: “The decision of the Tunisian president to assign a reception to the leader of the separatist militia Polisario in the framework of the activities of the Tokyo Summit for African Development “TICAD 8″ held in Tunis, represents a hostile and biased position against our country, and a serious violation of the territorial and national unity of our country and of the sentiments of the Moroccan people”.

The statement condemns “this strange, hostile position, which is not consistent with these relations, and even threatens the core of this common historical balance, by receiving the head of a separatist militia, and violating the territorial integrity and good neighborliness of Morocco and all the norms of brotherhood between the two countries, and the relations of cooperation and association in all fields between them”.

The Assembly also expressed its absolute support for the position of the Moroccan government, and its involvement in continuing to support and consolidate the good relations that it brings together in African capitals and cities, according to the strategy outlined by King Mohammed VI to find a realistic and artificial solution to this artificial conflict, under national sovereignty, as well as to face all the miserable attempts of the enemies of the territorial and national unity of the Kingdom of Morocco.
