Porn Addicts More Vulnerable to Religious Extremism – Today 24

A new study revealed that porn addicts are also more susceptible to religious extremism and have a strong aversion to feeling negative emotions.

The study published in the scientific journal “Sexual Health and Compulsive Behaviors”, in which 600 people participated, showed that excessive viewing of pornographic movies has negative consequences at work, study and personal relationships.

The study’s lead researcher, Christopher Hand, said in an interview with the “Psy Post” magazine, which specializes in psychology, that his study stood out from others because it included both men and women.

The study showed a strong relationship between those who experience problems in their lives due to frequent viewing of pornography and those who suffer from obsessions, such as their feeling of needing to resist immoral thoughts and their feeling of fear of being evil and immoral.

The study also revealed a positive relationship between a tendency toward sadism, or the enjoyment of hurting others, and excessive viewing of pornography.
