Security arrests an internationally wanted Guinean citizen – today 24

On Monday, September 19, police officers from the Casablanca security state arrested a 32-year-old Guinean citizen, as he was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the judicial authorities of the State of Guinea in a case related to fraud and trust abuse.

The interested party was being sought by virtue of an international arrest warrant issued by the Guinean judicial authorities, on suspicion of his involvement in a case of fraud against a citizen of sub-Saharan countries, in which the suspect stole an amount of more than 200,000 euros posing as an officer at one of the funds transfer agencies, and also forged a certificate for the electronic transfer of said amount.

The suspect was detained, according to the Casablanca security mandate, within the framework of the strengthening of cooperation relations in southern and southern security, to which the interests of the General Directorate of National Security attach special importance within relations security cooperation.

The suspect was kept in custody by order of the competent Public Ministry, pending his presentation to the judicial authorities in charge of resolving the extradition requests of those wanted at the international level, in accordance with national legal texts and relevant international conventions.
