The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, described the existing cooperation relations between Morocco and Spain in the field of migration management as “exemplary and unprecedented”.
In a statement on the matter, Bourita stressed, after conversations with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Alparís, that the dynamics of association in the field of migration management will have a positive impact not only on bilateral relations, but also at the regional level. .

On this occasion, he announced that Rabat and Madrid intend to coordinate efforts during an upcoming meeting in December, with the aim of attracting other countries to join the Moroccan-Spanish approach to the issue of migration and the fight against human trafficking networks.
Bourita praised the cooperation and coordination between Morocco and Spain, and the return of maritime connectivity between the two countries, noting that bilateral relations have returned to what they were, and better.
It should be noted that the Bourita and Paris talks took place on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
